Czech glass, beer, and porcelain
Glassmaking in the Czech lands has medieval roots, while urban brewing was tied to old brewing rights and craft traditions. Porcelain, however, arrived much later: the factory at Horní Slavkov dates its origins to 1792. These are three important traditional industries, but it would be inaccurate to describe all of them as medieval guild crafts. [1–4]
