In 2000, Ann Atkin’s collection set a Guinness record with 2,010 garden gnomes and pixies. It later grew: Guinness’s record entry lists 2,042 figures as of March 2011. So 2,010 is an earlier historical count, not the later total; the collection included pixies as well as gnomes.
