Asia’s population
UN estimates for July 1, 2025 put Asia’s population at about 4.84 billion—more than all other world regions combined (about 3.40 billion of the global 8.23 billion). The claim is therefore correct for that year and the UN’s regional classification. These are estimates/projections, and continental or regional boundaries may differ under other schemes.
Asia has more people than all other regions combined.
