Calories in beer, milk, and apple juice

Calories depend on the recipe and serving size. Typical reference data per 100 g give regular beer about 43 kcal, apple juice 46 kcal, and whole milk about 61 kcal. But a typical 355 ml beer has roughly 150 kcal, a cup of milk about 150, and a cup of apple juice about 110. So saying beer “doesn’t have many calories” without specifying the serving and style can mislead; alcohol itself contributes energy.
