Star color and temperature
A star’s color is related to its surface temperature: red stars are cooler, while blue stars are hotter. As a guide, red stars can have surface temperatures around three thousand kelvins, while blue stars can exceed thirty thousand. This is a simplified rule about stellar emission in visible light.
