Humans Glow — Too Faintly for the Eye
The human body emits ultraweak photons associated with biochemical processes, including energy metabolism and oxidation. A 2009 study estimated this light at about one-thousandth of the sensitivity of the naked eye and recorded it with a highly sensitive CCD camera. It is measurable faint emission, not a visible glow or an “aura.”
