Язик кита важить як слон? | Does a whale’s tongue weigh as much as an elephant?

Does a blue whale’s tongue weigh more than an elephant? The comparison is often repeated, but it depends on which elephant you mean. Guinness World Records gives about four tonnes for a blue whale’s tongue—roughly the body mass of an adult elephant, not necessarily more than an “average elephant.” Both animals vary greatly in mass, so it is more accurate to say the tongue can weigh about as much as an elephant.
