One galactic year
The Sun, together with the entire Solar System, orbits the center of the Milky Way. One orbit takes about 230 million Earth years; sources give a range of roughly 225–250 million years. About the same amount of time has passed since the first dinosaurs appeared, so the Solar System has completed approximately one galactic orbit since then.
