Kiribati in four hemispheres

Kiribati’s islands extend across both the Equator and the 180th meridian, placing the country’s territory in the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Hemispheres. The International Hydrographic Organization describes Kiribati as the only country located in all four.
