Найбільший наземний хижак — із винятком | The largest land predator—with a caveat

The polar bear is generally described as the largest land predator among living species, but it shares the top size range with the largest brown bears, including Kodiak bears. Both can grow exceptionally large, and mass varies with sex, age, and season. So the claim is broadly correct, with a caveat for unusually large Kodiak bears.
