Pew’s2017 study located most Orthodox Christians in Central and Eastern Europe. Its category also included Oriental churches and substantial African populations, especially Ethiopia. A map limited to Europe and parts of the Middle East is therefore incomplete. This is dated demographic analysis of a broad category rather than one church jurisdiction.
