The Multiverse and Different Laws of Physics

Some eternal-inflation cosmologies propose many “bubble” regions or universes where effective physical constants or laws could differ. The multiverse, however, remains a hypothesis without direct observational confirmation. The claim that time runs differently or periodically backward in other universes is not a general consequence of multiverse models: cyclic cosmologies and closed timelike curves are separate theoretical ideas.
