Bees See Ultraviolet Light

Bees can see ultraviolet light, which humans cannot. In many flowers, ultraviolet patterns create contrasting “nectar guides” that can help insects orient toward the flower’s center. These patterns vary among plant species and are not present in the same form in every flower.
