The Yuzefin Oak, an ancient Ukrainian tree

The Yuzefin Oak in the Yuzefin tract of Rivne Oblast is among Ukraine’s oldest trees. Radzivila Forest National Park currently gives its age as over 1,350 years; earlier publications reported lower estimates of about 1,000 years, so the exact age should not be treated as undisputed. In September 2025, park staff measured its trunk circumference at 8.7 m.
