Hitler, Ford, and a Nazi award

Adolf Hitler praised Henry Ford in *Mein Kampf* and kept Ford’s portrait in his office. In 1938 the Nazi regime awarded Ford the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, one of its highest honors for foreigners.
