Jackie Chan and stunt work

Jackie Chan is known for performing many of his own stunts, and his films often showed failed takes and injuries in the end credits. He has suffered numerous fractures and serious injuries; in 1986, for example, a skull fracture during *Armour of God* filming required surgery. But “broke nearly every bone” is hyperbole, not a medical inventory, and he worked with his own stunt team, so it is inaccurate to say he generally performed without stunt doubles altogether.
