Vin Diesel built his own path into film

Has Vin Diesel only acted in films, or has he helped create them too? He founded the production company One Race Films and, before becoming a Hollywood star, wrote, directed, and produced his own independent projects, including the short *Multi-Facial* (1995) and *Strays* (1997). He still occasionally receives screenplay credits; however, saying he writes scripts generally is too broad—many of his films are written by other screenwriters.
