The Mass of Air
Under standard sea-level conditions, dry air has a density of about 1.225 kg/m³, so one cubic metre weighs roughly 1.2 kg. This is a reference value for the standard atmosphere (15 °C and standard pressure); actual density varies with temperature, pressure, humidity, and altitude. [1–2]
A cubic metre of dry air at standard conditions has a mass of about 1.2 kg.
