The Polissian Lowland
The Polissian Lowland is one of Ukraine’s largest lowlands; it should not be conflated with the broader natural and historical region of Ukrainian Polissia. Much of the lowland lies about 150–200 m above sea level, but some ridges are substantially higher: the Slovechansko-Ovruch Ridge rises above 300 m.
