Does Angelina Jolie have roots in Lviv?

There is no reliable confirmation that Angelina Jolie’s ancestors came from Lviv. Biographical accounts generally describe her paternal background as German and Slovak, and her maternal background as French Canadian, Dutch, and German. Jolie did visit Lviv in 2022, but that visit is not evidence of family roots there. The claim about Lviv ancestors is therefore unverified.
