Nerve-signal speed depends on the fiber

274 km/h is about 76 m/s, within the possible range for fast conduction in some large myelinated axons. There is no single speed for a nerve impulse: fiber diameter and myelination strongly affect conduction, and unmyelinated fibers are much slower. The number can illustrate some fast fibers, but not all signals in the brain or nervous system.
