A little wonder, every day

Christmas dates depend on the calendar

The division of all Western Christians celebrating December 25 and all Eastern Christians January 7 is incorrect. Some Orthodox churches use a fixed-feast calendar placing Christmas on civil December 25, including the OCU’s Revised Julian calendar. For communities retaining the Julian calendar, December 25 currently corresponds to Gregorian January 7. Denomination and calendar are not the same thing.
