Winds and seasons on Neptune

Neptune has extraordinarily fast winds: NASA reports speeds above 2,000 km/h. Each of its four seasons lasts more than 40 Earth years because a Neptunian year is about 165 Earth years. Exact wind speeds depend on location and measurement method; comparison with an Earth hurricane is not a direct comparison of atmospheric conditions.
