London’s tourist visits

In 2018, London received 19.1 million overnight visits from overseas, the most of any UK town or city according to the International Passenger Survey. This is not every visit: domestic tourists, day trips, and other methods produce different totals. The “over 20 million” figure may use another definition or source, so city comparisons need a stated metric.
