Чау-чау — не єдина собака з темним язиком | Chow Chows Aren’t the Only Dogs with Dark Tongues

Chow Chows are not the only dogs with dark tongues. A fully blue-black tongue is also associated with Chinese Shar-Peis, Eurasiers, and Thai Ridgebacks. Dark spots, meanwhile, can appear in many breeds and do not by themselves prove Chow Chow ancestry. The Chow Chow’s distinctive breed-standard trait is a solid blue-black tongue, not just any dark pigmentation. The illustration was created with AI; it does not depict tongue coloration.
