A seven-fold limit?

The “paper cannot be folded in half more than seven times” rule applies to an ordinary sheet, not every piece of paper. The limit depends on thickness, dimensions, and folding method: Britney Gallivan folded a long, thin sheet 12 times, and MIT students folded a long strip of toilet paper 13 times. About seven folds is a typical practical limit for standard printer paper.

Seven folds is not a limit for every sheet.
