Would Saturn "Float"?

Saturn’s mean density is about 0.687 g/cm³, lower than that of liquid water. Hence the familiar thought experiment: if an ocean of sufficient size and suitable conditions existed, the planet’s average density would make it buoyant. No such ocean exists, and Saturn is a gas giant with no solid surface. Pressure and temperature rise inward, hydrogen enters denser states, and the planet has a complex layered interior. The comparison is therefore about bulk average densities, not a real scenario in which Saturn could be dropped into water like a solid ball.
