Vatican City: residents, area and enclave

As of 31 December 2024, Vatican City State had 882 residents, citizens and non-citizens combined. Its area is about 0.44 km² (the more precise official figure is 0.439 km²). It is a sovereign enclave entirely surrounded by the territory of Rome, Italy. The figure 800 is an older rounded approximation and should be dated.
