Alaska’s geographic extremes
Alaska is the northernmost and westernmost U.S. state. It also has land east of the 180th meridian: the Aleutian Islands cross it, so by longitude Alaska can also be called the easternmost state. That description depends on how “easternmost” and “westernmost” are defined.
The Aleutian Islands cross the 180th meridian.
