Buddhism has no single book serving as an identical, exhaustive canon for every school. The Pali Tipitaka is the complete surviving canon of the early Theravada school, while Chinese and Tibetan collections have their own histories and contents. Diversity means neither absence of sacred texts nor that the historical Buddha personally wrote every later book word for word.
