The *Guinness World Records 2018* edition featured Cygnus Regulus Powers, a silver Maine Coon with the longest tail on a living domestic cat. His tail measured 44.66 cm — slightly more than the 44.6 cm in the original list. This is a historical result: Guinness later classified it under the longest tail on a domestic cat ever, while the living-cat category has had different holders.
