Counting screens in Ukraine

1 / 3

The year and screen type change the total.

Listen to fact0:00 / —

Reported cinema-screen counts for Ukraine depend on the year and technology. At the start of 2014, an industry expert counted 464 digital screens and another 59 film-based screens; by year’s end, the digital count had fallen to 384 after Crimea and parts of Donbas became inaccessible. So 464 should not be presented as the total number of screens in 2015.
