Jupiter's volume
By volume, Jupiter could hold about 1,321 Earths. The familiar “about a thousand” is a reasonable rounding. This compares volumes as if one filled the other; it does not mean Jupiter is hollow or that solid spheres could be packed without gaps. [1–3]
A volume comparison, not Jupiter’s structure.
